Hello everyone
I was trying to think about something interesting to talk about today and thought my own case would be a good start. While in this blog I won't go into complete detail I will just give you a little bit about what I think I need at the moment. My little baby is 11 months old now and still has trouble sleeping through the night. Last night was particularly terrible. She woke up every half hour, very restless. I was trying to figure out why it was that bad and then realized I gave her a dose of arsenicum right before bed because she came in contact with someone who has a very nasty cough and I wanted to protect her from getting sick. While I was able to do that with the arsenicum, she kept me up all night. So what remedy is given for disturbed sleep due to night-watching (in my case nursing baby)?
ANSWER:
cocculus!
This remedy is also for jetlag. It is indicated where there is an extreme loss of sleep due to external factors (in other words not your own body waking yourself up). I'm going to take a dose right now!
